About the Project
Flutt Server Status is a system designed for web hosting companies, online service providers and server admins to allow them and their clients to easily and quickly check the status of their servers and services. By providing graphical notifcation the system aims to cut down on support time spent answering simple questions about the status of services.

FSS began life as a small personal project in July 2003 to monitor the status of a number of boxes providing various services accross a LAN, but was soon developed into a full scale project capable of monitoring much larger networks. Two of the inital requirements of the system - ease of use and low resource use - are still at the heart of the project now and will be as the system grows in the future.
In early August 2003 the project was give a boost with a partnership between the author and AbusedReality(dot)com, providing much some needed resources allowing the script room to grow and the ability to promote itself to a wider audience.

Currently the script can be seen as part of the Eurofficial Internet support pages giving their clients details of the status of their servers 24 hours a day.
