Version 2 is on its way!   [Posted by: ConfuzzledDuck on Tue 29th March 2005, 3.15am]
This project has been lying dormant for a long time due to personal circumstances, but I am now very pleased to announce that version 2 of the script is well under development.

While the new version sticks to the same ideas as 1.x did, it is much improved - allowing easier installation, set-up and maintenance and a whole load of new features.

I will post a full rundown of the changes within the next few days, and hope to have an initial release of the second version available very soon.

1.1b ->1.1.1b bugfix   [Posted by: ConfuzzledDuck on Tue 17th February 2004, 1.55pm]
We have just released a new version of the script to tackle the problems outlined in this article.

If you were having problems with PHP notices when attempting to use previous versions of the script we encorage you to try this version.  Users who were not having these problems need not upgrade.

Errors with PHP high error reporting level   [Posted by: ConfuzzledDuck on Tue 17th February 2004, 4.27am]
We have recently been contacted by a number of users regarding large numbers of messages generated by PHP during execution of the script.  This only happens when PHP is set in a very sensitive error-reporting mode.

Following a little research we have discovered the reason for this and are in the process of making changes to the script in order to rectify it.  A full version and upgrade version should replace the existing current version within the next few days.  Only users experiencing problems with Notices generated by PHP need change their versions - this bug does not affect the security, integrity or operation of the script available currently.  This will be the only change made to the script at this time.

Unfortunatly, due to a number of server problems and moves in recent weeks, we no longer have the details of users who have informed us of this bug, but would much like to credit its discovery to them.  If you have contacted us recently regarding this bug please email again so that we may keep our credits and contributors list up-to-date.
